Topic: Simple question: How to delay Flame Emitter 3 triggering???

As simple as it may be.I want Lara to step on a Flame Emitter 3 (where the flame itself is also located) trigger but I want the flame to be triggered a little later so she can jump off the square before being killed. It may sound stupid but I forgot how to do this. Positive numbers in the timer fiels seem to do nothing. Negative numbers triggers the flame only after she jumps off the square... I may be getting nuts... IP: Logged |

I thought positive numbers worked. Are you using a big enough number? I think it's 10 per second. A 2 second delay should be 20.

Hereīs what I did:Placed Flame Emitter 3 on a square. Placed the trigger for it on the same square. Opened the Set Trigger Type window. Typed 50 in the Timer field. Hit Enter, Ok. The flame starts as soon as she steps on the square... XXXX!!!

I think if you put a negative number in the ocb it will only start counting when she steps off.Try making a one block corridor and trigger one the square before ...but then I could be wrong!! Col. ------------------ Home of the TRLE Chatbox IP: Logged |

Yeah I had to do it with the negative number, on another square. So the flame is triggered when she steps off. I donīt know why I couldnīt do it with the positive numbers, even high ones, the flames always triggers imediately... Well the puzzle was not affected anyway...Thanks! IP: Logged |

in order to make the trigger start when Lara steps on the square, use the one shot button in the trigger type window
