Is it possible to somehow use the old underwater switch from TR1-3 in the editor?I know you can replace the existing ones with the older one , but Lara doesn't perform the animation of pulling the switch. I've downloaded AI EDIT , but does anybody know if it can be done with this.[ or how to use it properly...i'm not too sure] It has a list of all Laras' animations ,which have numbers assigned to them, so i suppose in theory you could replace one with another in the same way you replace objects in TR WEST. Is this right , or is there more to it than this? IP: Logged |

You should be able to use any underwater switch by all means...there is no mystery to it. I for my part have extracted some TR3 wads with TR2WAD and used one of their underwater switches after implementing them in my custom wad with TRwest. I’ve done nothing more about it, it worked just fine.If in your case the underwater switch animation is not displayed, could it be that you are not using the revised wads, but the originals that came with the Editor? And, erm, the underwater switch should of course be placed in the UNDERWATER_SWITCH slot...just in case you didn’t notice that there is in fact one. :\ IP: Logged |
