My latest and final level will be released on or around 11th November hopefully. I`ve just spent the past fortnight completely redoing part of the thing as it kept crashing. I think I exceeded some kind of memory limit with too many big rooms. Anyway here`s a few screenshots..

If your level keeps crashing, yes you exceeded the texture limit. Try deleting the unused objects from your WAD. Delete everything you donŽt use in the level, use TRWest to do that. Look at the text window of the Converter. Texture data should be less than 2300, otherwise youŽll have problems. Partial textures like triangles also helps to fill your memory, so try to reshape some of the rooms, with less triangles.IP: Logged |

Yeah that`s pretty much what I`ve been doing to correct the level over the past couple of weeks. Pain in the neck but it seems to be sorted now. I just have to play through it a few times to polish it up and add cameras and audio etc and tweak a few things then it`s done. THEN I QUIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!.. ------------------ Will Gell IP: Logged |

This time I mean it. I just can`t face anymore. This latest level has been a real slog. Trying to squeeze out new puzzle ideas is just getting too hard. Plus it`s taking up too much personal time. It`s been great fun but it`s time to call it a day. ------------------ Will Gell IP: Logged |
