You have to type a number to activate the trigger properly, but I'm not sure what the number is.

Hmm, It does sound as if it is trying to find a level number that does not exist. I would suggest checking that you have added the level number of the level that should load next.

Yes, in my levels(90%), it is the same. It start loading the next level(level 9), but It comes back to windows. Sometimes, when I exit from that level, it starting loading the Title level, but it return to windows.

You still have to put the number of the next level into the box next to FlipEffect.
The title is zero, the levels are numbered in the order they appear in script.txt.

If you just want it to load the title screen enter 24 for the finish trigger. However, I can`t think of any TR level that ends in the way you are trying to do. It maybe just won`t work. Cores commercial levels end with a simple trigger at a set point or with a cut scene. I can`t think of any level that ends with a pick up. If you think about what you`re asking the thing to do. You want Lara to make the pick up and have the game add the item to the inventory and end the level at the same time!!! Bit much I`d say! Try triggering a little flyby and use a heavy trigger to end the level just after the pick up. This should hopefully let the item be added to the inventory and clear the way for the end trigger. Worth a shot but it may not work. A finish trigger may need to be clear and not complicated by other actions.

i doesnt work.... i tried the flyby, it didn't work. I made another room and put the finish trigger in there. it didnt work. i tried triggereing different levels. that didn't work. (Hmmm, does anyone have a shotgun here???) i really don't know whats wrong with this thing.

(i just put some screen shots of the level concerned on my site. www.geocities.com/bricklayer26uk
just follow the links to project inferno screen shots. if i can't get this trigger to work, this is the only way your going to see this level...)

what about a heavy trigger triggering the end of the level, or don't pick-ups trigger heavy triggers?

I take it you have got a finish trigger to work in the normal way? I really doubt it will work with a pick up trigger. I would recommend rethinking the level. I`ve nearly completed my 7th level and there have been times when I have suffered severe mental trauma!! It`s all part of editing and is the reason I`m retiring after this one! On many occasions I`ve had to stop. Go back. Rethink the concept of a level and try other ways and ideas. It`s a mistake to begin making a level with a whole load of predetermined ideas and concepts without keeping in mind that you may have to trash many of them on the way.

Fun aint it????

Design the level so Lara steps on the finish trigger just after the pick up. Stick a door in that opens with the pick up trigger. When Lara walks through she steps on the finish trigger. End of level.

in Tomb Raider 3, at the end of the Jungle levels, Lara pics up the artifact and that triggeres the end of the level
same thing for the pickup in the alien spaceship in Area 51
