Indeed he does, although it's not a complete document. You can find it here: http://trwad.tripod.com/Download/PRJFormat.htm

I was thinking of maybe making an utility that would import any TR level as a PRJ file, just the room geometry and the texture...unless somthing like this already exists...

are you making one or not: I ask because fro me making such is a big investment in time I might not have, I just cannot compete with people who can code 20 hours a day with no jobs and the rest, well, you know...Let me know.
Besides, I started doing specs for its structure and could send it to you to make it more polyvalent...

I have a more detailed project format than anyone except Core.
The problem is the TR4 format -- totally different. Finding the data and matching it to the PRJ format is a B! But I'm making progress. By today I should be able to do the basic room structure and doors. Textures will be the last thing, cause it is more complicated than you can imagine.

Thanks, I think I have enough info, except maybe for cameras.
The problem is that when the PRJ is compiled into TOM, the format changes, data is combined, split up, changed to different formats, etc. Just have to figure out how it all relates back to the PRJ. I might not be able to do box squares or effect lights, but objects, triggers, etc shouldn't be too hard. At least we can get the actual triggers, OCBs, and stuff like that.

Big time sucky stuff
Ever try to play the original TRLR levels with tomb4? The sound effects don't play. Apparently the TR4 files with TRLR are just a little different than TR4 files made with WinRoomEdit. Can you say BUMMER!!! And more is different than just the sounds.
Oh well, small step back, but I'm getting there. Soon

Hi aktrekker,

I noticed your 'PRJ fixer' on Colins tools page... why didn't you say anything about the release of that proggie here on the board? Or maybe I missed that...
Anyway, nice tool that is to fix the prj files. Please keep us informed here on the board about any possible updates etc.
Not that I use the TRLE much, but the times I did use it I once had a broken prj myself.
And I know how irritating it can be...

Bye,
Bart

Sorry for taking so long Number6. I'm trying to clean it up and make it readable. Also working on a new project, so kind of busy. I'll get it done.
