They have to at least some prjs or something new for the editor. A lot say that the editor's getting old. I have had it for a year and my interests are still being sparked. So, would Eidos miss one year without making some money? I think not.

What does everyone else think?

Are you sure about a TR5 Gold?

Well, in my opinion itīs the least that they could do!

But I would prefer more things for the editor:

More PRJs!
More official WADs!
More tools!

What's the use of them releasing WAD's?
They'd only release TRLR WAD's.. And those WAD's are all too common now.
A few PRJ's or Tools would be nice though..
But don't hold your breath! and in the end they don't owe us anything anyway.

All wads are already availeble. It's OCBthings we need. Or a wad from tomb5 that will fit in this editor? I dont think a gold edition will come because she is dead. There was no gold edition of tombraider4 so, untold goldedition levels?

They might not owe us anything but they did promise us more than what they released. Remember the last wads released(Library and Gaurdian of Semerket? Well, if I recall didn't they say there is more to come. So they did get our hopes up for nothing. And they wound up dissapointing us. We are their loyal fans who keep them in business. So maybe they do owe us at least a revised editor or more wads or something.I mean it would be fun being able to use the zipliner or the tightrope in our own levels.

First off.. They never got my hopes up over WADs..
I make my own WAD's and I almost always have..
Second.. You couldn't use a Tightrope or Zipline anyway.
That's asking for a entire other EXE File then the one we currently have.
And let me tell you, They do NOT owe us that much.

Umm... didn't Core Design release "Project Eden" this year? I know it's not Lara, but from the demo I played, it looks like it might actually a be a step towards something better. Think of it as "Team Raider," since it still has the exploration and puzzle element of Tomb Raider, but with a team environment.

Actually, I hope Core doesn't release a new Tomb Raider again this year. They should take their time and make sure that the next TR is substantially better than the last 5 (not that I didn't like the old ones, but it's time for something different and better!)

And I doubt they'll release anything new for the editor... it seems everything's already available in some form or another from people's homemade sites.

I think that Tomb Raider 5 Gold would be cool, and if Lara died in TR4, they wouldn't make a TR5, right? Just as TR5, the TR5G could have new episodes in the same style of the others.

I still think that a gold version would be nice.
Its always good to play some really new official level, with new environments and situations, and new stuff to do (new effects, puzzles, FMV, etc, etc, etc).

Thought about more WADs in the sweet dream of having nice prj files with them, with exact ocb settings, etc. And the other sweet dream of having ready-to-use bug-free adapted WADs of the past (well this last one would take more time from them...) or even from TR5.

OR

An updated bug-free, crash-warning, more self contained version of the Editor itself!

I think the new levels in TR5 Gold should focus on Von Croy's attempts to find Lara. After he finds her back at the end of TR5, the Gold game would start with him traversing the caverns to actually find Lara herself... so you wouldn't even control Lara, you'd be Von Croy. Then, for the ultimate plot twist, when Von Croy finally finds Lara, she's just a crumpled heap on the floor with a spike sticking through her.

Sure they could use a zipliner and tightrope. If they really wanted to(which I doubt) they could combine, somehow, previous editors or put the animations in the current editor. Make a revised editor. I'm sure they didn't get your hopes up sage. You can practically make anything for the editor. Some of us, however, can't. We just don't have the knowledge and the skill. And this might sound stuburn, but I think that they do owe at least something(big or small) to us.

P.S- Sage , please don't get so affended. I don't know why your defending Core anyway. And don't get me wrong. I'm COMPLETELY greatful for the editor. I truly am. But can you blame a guy for wanting more to make it more exciting?
