Hi everybody... I made a series of 4 short levels and I want Lara to jump from one to the other. I made everything which is required (start pos with same numbers as in finish triggers...) and, so far, it does work... At least in part!!! The problem is that Lara jumps to the next level after running on the finish trigger BUT when the second level is loaded, everything is black and Lara cannot run. I know that I am in the second level because the music loads correctly. But it seems that Lara is stuck in a black box. She can turn, take weapons, backflip but not progress. And anyway, there is nowhere to go becaus eall the screen is black. The only thing I can see is the sun from coastal wad... and Lara after using the binoculars... What is wrong? Can anybody help me to fix this? Has anybody had the same problem? Thanks for your help... JBIP: Logged |

When I tried connecting some levels, I ended up checking the official levels to see how they did it. You have to make sure the cone of the start position points the right direction, toward the finish trigger. Also make sure all of your start positions in all of your levels have a unique number. And make sure you hit the start position in a map before you step on the finish trigger. For examples, check out tut1 and settomb, they link to each other.

Thanks Aktrekker, but the thing is I want Lara to enter the next level from one corridor and leave it from the end of the level, meaning the finish triggers and start pos are all scattered through the level... What do u say?IP: Logged | |
