Anyhow, if I didn't make any mistake, once you have the "luminous beam" you can go and open the TechnoEgyptians Portal itself.... at your own risk 
you can open the portal if you have the complete Portal Eye: you find the first part of it in the first rooms, doing a monkey ceiling at the beginning of the level.
The second portal eye piece is a pickup item in the room where you first meet a skeleton.
Once you combine them you can go to the Portal Room...
If you used my audio files, you can go UP to this portal room since the long sloping decline down you did the first time you entered in the Big Egg Room with Seth Statues and electric dogs.
Try to reach that slope where you came from, and where you even heard a TR3 music. You can reach it without playing the entire level again, but simply with a little bit hard jump which apparently seems impossible.
Once you are again at the end of this decline, you can go right to this Portal Room, but the way up above is not that easy.... use my audio files, they are near to be really important, right now...
