Hello,This is a minor release: the TR4 support is for the next one (V1.0 - I promise) ! What's new: - Bug correction in the sky moveable: the lower cone is now black, instead of blue - Fixed pb "Command 6 unknown in Anim Commands list. Aborting TRViewer !!"." when loading TR3 cut scenes - Added the Options- isplay menu to let you configurate some default display options - Added friendly names and icons in the treeview for TR resources (moveables / sprites / static meshes) - Possibility to display the real meshes instead of dummy meshes for some moveables (for eg., Lara's weapon animations) - Possibility to display two moveables at the same time (for eg., Lara and a vehicle) - When displaying sprites, the default mode (list / animated) and zoom factor to use is selected automatically (as before, it's possible to change it via the sprite toolbox) More informations and binaries at: www.geocities.com/ev_popov

oh popov GREAT work...........your tool is really fantastic i am waiting V1.0for TR4 support .......when will you release it oh i have small question for V1.0:for example if we export a moveable from tr3 level as trmvb file and then import it into tr4 level..... will the moveable work CORRECTLY in the tr4 level? and if we use TRwest to make the WAD file.... can we use this WAD in the level editor without problems?ZAHER ABBAS [This message has been edited by zaher0001 (edited 11-12-2001).] IP: Logged |

> i am waiting V1.0for TR4 > support .......when will you release itI don't really know, but I hope there are not a lot of differences between TR3 and TR4 file format, so that I could do it quickly. [moveable export from one TR version and import in another one] Generally, doing this will result in game crashing. Indeed, in order for this to work, the moveable from the exported level should have: - the same number of anims - the same meanings for each anim (ie. anim#1=walk, #2=run, etc) than the moveable you replace in the imported level. In addition, you will have to remap all sounds used by the moveable because the sound library is different from one TR to another. So, as you can see, using a moveable from one TR version to another is something nearly impossible to do with no work. Generally, it would require a lot of work to make this possible (though some moveables may be easier to export than another, depending on the number of anims they have). IP: Logged |

The big importance to having TRviewer with TR4 support is that you can see at real time ALL animations order for each movable, this will help you to fix correctly the imported movable using michel's AI editor, this will let you make work almost correct the imported enemy. Also the availibility to export the movable to 3dS file format for edit the animations will be the best thing that even happen to the LE users, finally custom enemies can be built then
