is there any way to texture a vertical door with more than 1 seethrough texture or do I have to build lots of stacked rooms each with a 4 click texture height?

example - see through link fences and the aviary in trla

He means, on a normal vertical surface, you have to higher or lower the floor or ceiling to prevent texture stretching. How can this be achieved on a door 'surface'?

You should be able to.

Remember those texture splits on the walls - (there are actually 5 available).

Well you can apply those to doors too (here I'm referring to the door apertures).

You do need to be careful about affecting the adjoining rooms floors and ceilings though.

If it's door objects then that would require retexturing the door (in StrPix I think)

Say for example you want to add a see through fence between 2 doors with no passage. You create 2 rooms - adjust the all split to allow good texturing - highlight the wall between the rooms - click on door and viola - joined rooms.

To apply the textures click on the door click doublesided click on toggle opacity and ---- no wall split just one big wall

If you adjust the wall split with the door highlighted you actually adjust the floor and ceiling panels in the other room.

The only TRLE level I have seen it in is Tomb of Seth with the cobwebs - but it seems to be just 1 texture

Think back to TR3 and the end of the Nevada desert level and the high security compound

any suggestions
