The old TR2WAD could not extract this WAD from the original CD. I´ve heard the new version can do it.

Open TRWAD and browse to the location of the Xian.tr2 file.
When the file has loaded in TRWAD go to 'file' and 'save wad'.
Save wherever you want then use TRWEST to extract the objects you want.

I have TRWAD1.4 and it won't open that particular wad...i'm not sure if there is a newer version...i'm gonna have a look.

Use the .was file to see what the object names are in TRWest. The old TR2 name in on the right, the TRWest name on the left.

acturally xian.tr2 isn't temple of xian. instead it should be emprtomb.tr2.

John, what files do you need?
I've extracted the wad and have the following files:

emprtomb.wad
emprtomb
emprtomb.sfx
emprtomb.swd
emprtomb.was

I can e-mail these to you if they're what you need...let me know.

If you can send the Temple of Xian files, tell me when you do,
and if you can't, then tell me too.

Is a poem good enough to get them??/
