Well, If someone can enter my mailbox he can read the password in the registration email from eidos. And you can hack the mailbox, cause we (some people from school) did it with a teacher some time ago.IP: Logged |

I believe that this problem should be directed to either the moderators or administrators instead of posting it on the Level Editor forum. Please keep this forum clear of non associated material in future.IP: Logged |

I think this is relevant to the forum. If someone is hacking members' logins, we should know about it.

You are in error, however it does has everything to do with the forum leaders, it is logical that only they need to know, and so stop it from occuring..

Michiel, if you e-mail your problem to me privately, I will address it to the forum administrator(s) We take such an acusion very seriously. If there indeed has been someone hacking passwords on the forum, you will be notified about this. However, if your own mailbox has been hacked as you mentioned, I'm afraid it's out of our hands.------------------ allright zip it! ziiiiiiiiiiiiip! (tm) by Dr. Evil (c) All rights reserved

It may be that your mailbox was hacked Michiel - or maybe not. This is not directed at you in particular - it is for general information...... As a matter of practice: - It is not a good idea to keep sign-up notification emails - they should be destroyed and the ID / Password stored securely (ENCRYPTED). You may also be alarmed to know that your forum ID and password are available in UNENCRYPTED form on your system. I found this out when I helped someone who had lost their forum password. (For obvious reasons I will not say where it is stored.) Do to various security issues with Microsoft Operating systems and applications you should all be using a firewall to protect your information. If you're worried about cost use ZoneAlarm. If ayone wants FREE confidential help on security or virus issues for home use please contact me - (I do this for a living). ------------------ Conan the Barbarian email: conanthebarbarian@ntlworld.com a.k.a.
