Well, you could get a regular bitmap, use a program called "TR Texture Editor" and extract them. If the textures you want is in bitmap form, horrah! If not, thats too bad.

to do that you would need different texture rippers for each program. TR Texture Editor only works for Tomb Raider Games

I don't think he's talking about Windows Media Player
(assuming you're thinking in that direction)

There's program called PlayStation Media Player. It reads PSX media like movies. audio and images. You can get this program at some psx emulation web sites. when you have it, put your sillent hill game cd in the drive, and under the file menu, select analyze cd. Make a search for .tim files and you'll get the textures.

It can be done! I've aldeardy done it by myself.
put your Sillent Hill game CD on the cd-rom drive, open PS Media Player, choose "file", then analyze Cd-Rom, select .tim, click on the start button and wait until it finishes, save the analyzed data, and open it, now you'll see the list of .tim files of the game. Only a few of them are textures from the game(I think the textures are the ones with 17kb).
