could someone make this tool which will make things easier?

I have my sound listed in the wad... but I would like to add ONLY ONE other more! it could be fantastic if a tool could show me in the left windows the sound already listed in my wad, and in the right windows all the samples from the sound fx folder... (browsing my machine for different language OS)

then it could be really wonderful to decide the volume (there is a feature in the sound.txt file) and the square of radius (idem as before)...

I know how to do it manually, but some sound fx are shared!!! the sound for a door is the same for the putting-the-puzzle-in-its-hole sound, only it is faster in the second one...

so, if I don't need one, it disappears from others, and I cannot put all the sound effects, or my tr4 would be very heavy...

So it would be very easier only to "add" the right sound we need if it is not listed... with even the "looping" features and the other ones...

I don't think it could be that hard... could someone?

You speak of .txt file manipulation - I have learnt much about this with SES - However I don't really know what you are talking about. If you could provide a more detailed description, that would be great, and I could tell you wether it is feasable for me or not...

That would be cool.

So you could enter new wav files without having to messa round with the thing provided with the editor. especially with custom wads, it's a pain in the @$$ knowing what sounds you have in.

Also, perhaps someone can produce a tool so that you could append rooms into the editor or project files. Sometimes I will design a couple of rooms and then start again on a different project. It would be nice if I could join two projects together, and I realise that the coordinates of the rooms would have to be specific.

'ZING' is not a word that I am familiar with, however I will make an exception to 'YOINK'.
