I want to make a door open when the sequence switches are pressed in a certein order:
1st: sequence switch 1
2nd: sequence switch 2
3rd: sequence switch 3

and after pressing them by their order, a door is opened. How can I do this?

I don't know offhand. But check out the settomb project. There is the part where you jump on the symbols on the floor to open a door. You have to do them in order or it won't work.

I don`t think you can do this. You can have up to 5 triggers for a door. In the Settomb puzzle mentioned the floor tiles have five triggers that must be stepped on. The other tiles are all anti triggers so you need to step only on the trigger tiles. It`s not a question of doing them in order.

Actually come to think of it you maybe could do what you want by using trigger triggerers. It would be a bit complicated but worth a shot.. The first switch would trigger the second and so on...

Hi Netslider, you must use Floor-edit so you can look at these rooms with triggers. Maybe you can not figure it out because this program doews not show stacked triggers.

You do have to step on the squares in the right order. Just try going out of order, the door will never open.

OK, I did some investigation.

First, if I jump on the squares out of order, it turns on flame emitters, and that is what stops you from finishing the sequence.
Second, the triggers are actually in the flipmap for room 107. Took awhile to find them.
Third, I tried triggering a switch. It didn't work. I had one switch triggereing the second switch. The second switch triggered the third, and the third triggered a door. The third switch did not open the door, as it should be. But flipping the other switches in order did not enable the final switch.
I think I'll research this a bit more. There has to be a way.

I tryed to convert Underneeth the Sphinx to PRJ, deleted all unnecessary rooms and saved it as tom, converted it to .tr4 and in-game, Lara didn't press the switches, she just walked backwards as she was preparing to do it, but nothing happened.
If only Core was giving support to the trle and could help us in this, things would be much easier.

I think I finally figured out how they work!
it's all about trigger triggerers.

I thought as much. Each door will trigger the trigger triggerer for each successive door.

Kind of makes me wish I was making a level again...

That's not what I was thinking. I was thinking that the first switch could activate the tt for the second switch, the second switch would activate the tt for the third, and the third would activate the door.
I haven't tryed this yet, but it might work.

All a TT does is activate any triggers on the same square. It won't activate or enable a switch or anything else, just triggers.

Hmm... idea looks good using trigger triggerers, but what happens if you go 1,3,2,3 instead of 1,2,3?

Yes, Netslider, the main door will be opened (or whatever triggered in switch 3). This is because as you trigger the switch 2, you enable switch 3 to be triggered.
