The editor needs to be run un 1024x768 resolution.

Have you been able to set your desktop to this resolution before or is it only recently you havn't been able to do so?

Try setting your desktop to this res, make sure you click on apply then click OK.
If it doesn't work, either your monitor isn't capable of 1024x768 (older ones ain't), or there is a problem with your video card drivers....Make sure you have the most up to date drivers.

Also when running the editor in order to view it properley ,hit ALT + ENTER together .This will make buttons that should be visible at the bottom appear if they are not there, providing you are in 1024x768 res.

Try the above, see if it helps...if not post back.

what kind of monitor do you have? I have two pc's and my old one is a 14" but it can have the 1024x768 resolution too...

anyhow try 1024 x768 with 16 bit (65,000 colours) this works to me and with less bits you can have a higher resolution with old videocard.

suggest you check you have latest drivers for video card

Also check refresh rate set for monitor - you could be trying to refresh at a higher or lower rate than the monitor is capable of

A 14" monitor might not be able to display 1024x768. In fact, I don't remember one that could.
If you can afford a voodoo3 card, you might want to also upgrade your monitor. A whopping 15" is under $100 now.

I don't want to appear to be bragging

but 15" is not whopping

14" is archaic

15" is bearable

17" is adequate

19" is Kewel

21" is Mmmm

> 21" is Nirvana!

Ha

It was a joke. I have a 19" Viewsonic, sharp as a needle at 1600x1200. DVDs look unbelievable.

And don't forget to make your task bar (at the bottom of the screen) auto-hide. It gives a little more screen space.
