Howdy Pardners... Can someone remind me of how to add textures when using Metasoquia? I found my notes from Mr Pascal on how to use it, but can't find anything on how to add textures. I have tried to find it but I'm struggling. Billy.IP: Logged |

I don't think you can. You have to save the finished mesh as DXF. Then use strpix to import it into the WAD and texture it.

DXF doesŽnt support textures. YouŽll have to texture your object in StrPix.BTW: Check out your pushable block thread. [This message has been edited by WebKnight (edited 12-16-2001).] IP: Logged |

You can do it with RHino or another CAD that have full layer names support. The TextureID Info can be stored in DXF using the layers names, so check the readme.txt in the strpix3 program to learn how the layername convetion is used for tell to the CAD which texture you want for each set polys. Metasoquiola can't support full layers names for each poly in your model, sorry. Tp.

It's sad, really, because Meta can paint an image directly onto an object, not just face by face.------------------ Raider's Tomb Raider Library IP: Logged |
