Well, on page 74 of the manual... jk! do you want level 'jumping' or just finish one level to the next.

If you use a custom wad take the karnak wad or the coastal wad and delete and add everything you like. These wads are problem free with level connecting. I am sure many other wads are but take these to be sure.

And when you use leveljumps start with 0 and then to 1,2 in the ocb of the start meshes. If you use higher numbers to start or another order Lara will wind up at the wrong spot in the next level. This is for every level.

As long as you have the revised wads, it shouldn't matter. They fixed a problem with the city wad.
If you are using custom wads, there is a possibility you could run into problems. Most likely losing inventory items between levels. I think that is part of the script file that hasn't been decoded yet. Otherwise it is hard-coded, probably by level number. I think earlier versions of the game had it in the script file, so it was possible to fix.
