Has anyone had crashes or freezes whilst applying textures? I've been using the LE for 8 months and I've never had this happening before. The error is fatal (LE crashes to desktop) and the message is:--------------- WINROOMEDIT caused an invalid page fault in module WINROOMEDIT.EXE at 0167:00447486. Well, mine crashes every once in awhile when I right-click on a certain texture in my level (to grab it so I can apply it to other squares). And every time I r/c that texture, it crashes! Probably not related to your problem, but I sympathize...IP: Logged |

This would normally happen in the following scenerios:
- When trying to rotate rooms whilst connect to others
- When applying the same texture to all floor or ceiling or wall tiles
- After loading in an updated TGA and applying textures
I don't know if this is what happened to you, there are other things that may cause this to happen. If you have updated your video card or are running anything in the background that you didn't normally run. If not, I can't think of anything else unless a file has been corrupted. It could be that the editor didn't like the decor you were trying to apply to one of it's rooms.. He He ------------------

Hi TRoosevelt_26 and dhama,Spooky! It must be happening because I have been doing all SEVEN of the things you mentioned simultaneously(!): 1) Right-clicking on a particular texture. 2) Rotating rooms whilst connected to others. 3) Applying the same texture to all floor or ceiling or wall tiles. 4) Loading in an updated TGA and applying textures. 5) I recently updated my video card drivers. 6) I have just installed a program which uses idle CPU time (removed now because of this LE crash). 7) But most likely it is: that the editor didn't like the decor I was trying to apply to one of it's rooms! I think I have to slow down a bit.. Thanks WBM
