1st make sure that the Level Editor Cd is in the box when you buy it a few people seem to have bought it and it wasnt inside. If you love TR you will love the Level Editor, It basically will do everything that you see in Tomb Raider 4 as thats what its based on, There are limitations in it because you cant recreate things from all the games BUT as time moves on people are Learning to add more and more features to the editor, there are many possibilities , creating your own objects, redesigning what lara looks like, adding your own sounds fonts logos Even if you dont like spending time on creating your own levels, there are many custom levels to play some Rock some are just Good TR5 has been out for ages now and its cheap enough, I havent played TR5 on the Pc since I bought it solely for Tomb Raider Level Editor If you are here to stay Welcome to the Forum. ------------------ Currently Working On; The Dragon Ball TR Saga Often in the Chatbox / AOL Instant Messenger Name is : GoTenchiZ , MSN ; Gokuz99@hotmail.com [This message has been edited by GokuZ (edited 12-25-2001).] IP: Logged |

Thanks for the welcome! I have always played tombraider on playstation and tlr for dreamcast. When I heard that the level editor was only included with the pc version I was a little upset, so I holded off buying it for the dc. Well, I recently bought a pc, so it looks like I'll be getting chronicles. Well, I just hope it works on windows xp. I can't wait to recreate the levels I thought of so many times before!!! *argh*rockstar, donīt try to install the editor at win xp. TR and the le need dos. Win xp doesnīt need dos anymore, so the editor and the tr games wonīt work on xp.IP: Logged |

qbg, win me uses dos...but itīs "hidden". Microsoft says, it doesnīt use dos, but it does Iīve read that a while ago in a computer magazine.... @aaronicus hmm...very strange...many people in the german forum tried it with win xp, too. There was only one person where the le worked...with a lot of error messages. All the others could even not install the editor. So, another question...how do you convert the script.txt file at win xp to a script.dat file?is there still a way of using dos based programmes?that would be great.....tell me more
