Greetings, Earthlings. Um, i have this problem with my level that when I get far enough away from this small cave thingy I have created in my outside level, the Horizon reasserts itself and appears inside the cave, but disappears when I walk lara closer. Is there any way to fix this? Please halp. ThAnKs

Make a smaller cave, or disable horizon.

According to the manual (somewhere) things begin to disappear after approximately (or, "almost exactly") eighteen blocks. FYI, that's the size of a full-sized TRLE room. While you can disable the horizon (in the Script.TXT entry for your level), don't do this if you have any outside areas later on.

One other way to fix this problem is to set barricades (for lack of a more apt term) in the way spaced about seventeen squares apart. I did this in Tell el Amarna (you will be able to download this level and four other accompanying ones from TombRaiderChronicles.com by Saturday at latest) because I couldn't disable the horizon, and it worked pretty well (not perfectly, due to the way the level was made, but pretty well, I think). Good luck building!

Hi.

The limit to avoid this problem is about 20 squares. Donīt make your room (or series of rooms) bigger than that.

Or you can use a black horizon like the one in City of the Dead. Disable the horizon.

Or...

You can do what the guys at Core do.
Place things to break the field of view.
You can put blocks, columns, etc. in the middle of the rooms, so you cannot see one end from the other.
