I made a great title flyby for my level set, and it wouldn't work. That is, it would display fine upon entering the game. But anytime I tried to Exit To Title, the game would crash. Turns out you not only need to use the Title WAD (although you can edit it with TRwest, thank God), you have to use the Title .PRJ file, too, and modify it...

It took a very long time to remake my flyby exactly like it was (especially since I tested Exiting To Title every other save or even more often). Why in &@#$ did Core do this?!

Make sure that the co-ordinates in the script file are pointing to an area in the map, this is necessary even in the title. I have succesfully made my own title flyby in 'The Village of the Dammed'

Well, it works now, but (like I said) I had to remake it building off the official Title.PRJ. Stinks.

You didn't update the Load camera coordinates for your title level.

Oh, yes I did. It showed my flyby's loading screen when I loaded a new level from the title flyby, and showed that level's loading screen when I left. I don't know what was wrong but it wasn't load_camera coordinates. Thanks, though.

Did you remember to put Lara in your title level? She has to be there even though you don't see her.

Just thought of this. Did you use the title wad file, another Core wad, or a custom wad? I think there was a problem with incompatible wads when going between certain levels. And some custom wads might have the same problem. If you need a custom wad for your title, start with the title wad.

That was part of my problem, yes. I did have Lara in my level, but I used a custom WAD. I ending remaking the Core .PRJ file and also just starting with and then editing the official Title WAD just to be on the safe side and it worked.
