If anyone can please help I'd be most greatful;

Okaies, I made a custom wad using TRwest, included everything I needed, everything was working fine. I added the 'outside texture' to the ceiling of one of my rooms, and I now have a great big black area between the sky and the horizon...Anyone?

I've jingled about, remade the wad, and nothing seems to help it. I'm using the coastal horizon, and sky graphics, but a lot of objects from the city wad that made me change the Lara I was using to the one in the city wad as well as the binocular graphics, I think...could this be waht is causing the conflict?

Oh and one other thing, not so major, is there any way of changing the darkness of items such as the medipak? I've tried the object colour buttons, and actually putting a light above them, the first having no effect, and the second leaving it to stick out like a saw thumb, thanks again, Black Mage Vivi.

To change the lighting on objects, you first must make sure you have lighting turned on, then click on the object so it is highlighted in red.
Then use the'object tint buttons' to adjust the lighting on the object.

Not sure about the sky problem though.

ERK!! How stupid of me :P thanks TRnut

An' I know how to change the colour of objects, because I have, and they look dark in the editor, but certain objects won't let me darken them, ie. Medipaks

Yes I'd like to know why some objects' can't be changed to make them lighter or darker. I have a pushable block which I took from TR2 and no matter how much I darken it, it still shines out as light and bright as ever. Looks a bit daft in a dark room.

LOL!! I know EXACTLY what you mean, I have a few dark rooms, one of which makes for the perfect secret, apart from the objects being as clear as day.

Only objects from the STATIC slots can have a color value. All other animated, puzzle and pickup items are automaticly adjusted with the rgb and ligts you use.
