Okaies I'll start with the question;
Is there anyway to animate the water textures in the extra textures Artic tga file? I've tried animation ranges, and the 1*1 cube, but I still only have still water. It looks...okay I guess, but it would be beter animated?

The problem I have is that my poleropes are invisible, which I know I could use as an advantage, but I just wondered why?

Thanks,

Vivi

Are you using the coastal wad? This wad has an invisible pole. Just take another pole from another wad with TRwest. Catacomb has one. Have you put all watertextures on the cube for the animation? It must be the whole texture.

Create a room 1 square by 1 square. This room must be inaccessible by Lara. Texture the floor with the texture that contains one of the water animations, then all other water textures you have placed will animate.

For the texture animation apply the WHOLE texture to the 1x1 room. To use all the ones you want in the range just aplly each one once (or twice just to fill up the room). Now you can make partial texture animations.
For the pole rope thing; is it a numesh object or the actual pole. it'll have to be actual the pole in order to see it.

I used the *acutal* pole object, which there could be a chance I used from the coastal Wad, I just picked one from one or another Wad when using TRwest, so thatnks for that

As for the cube, I have tried it before, and it's proven to be no help in animating them, but thanks again.

Try making the WHOLE texture in the small room transparent, as with the water textures in the main level.

Okay, that's strange, but I've just deleted my old 'cube' and replace it with a new one, and now it's working (?)(!) I think I must have used a different texture on one panel, cos' they all look the same :S

Anyways, thank you!!
