having trouble installing TR level editor. first error message is "unInstaller failed. you may not be able to uninstall this product." I click on OK, then it starts to install but 2nd error message pops up, something about move data error -115. the TR4 game loaded perfectly, so the problem is NOT my CDrom.

it may be a faulty disk, try going back to the shop U brought it in and ask for a replacement disk.

It sounds like your CD Drive is having a problem reading some of the files from the Editor CD.

This is probably due to the CD itself, because i had a lot of trouble installing the editor, i was getting similar problems as you, with move data error messages.

Have you got a second CD drive, such as a CD writer. If so try installing from there 'cos it might be able to read the disc better than the other, and also make sure the disc is really clean so it's got a better chance of being read.

I suspect the discs used for the editor CD's are a bit on the cheap side to be honest, there have been numerous cases of the disc shattering into pieces , and as you have found out ,difficulty in being read properly.

Persevere, and see if you have any luck, and if all else fails ,do as craziej2k says and return the disc for a replacement...good luck

YES! InstallSheild wizard employs automatically. How do I get around this? All my programs use this wizard when installing. Chronicals installs perfectly but, level editor CD does not.

If it did not uninstall completely, there might be a problem trying to overwrite files that were left behind. Try deleting the entire trle directory before you install again. Remember to save any files you want to keep.
