I was in Thames Warf in TR 3 and I made Lara swan dive off this taaaaall building with rolling,too.This was the result:

Guess I know that place.
Is it the very deep pit to the dark street between buildings near the yellow grated lifter?
(is that correct -lifter- ???)
Thatīs because thereīs a strange bug there, like the one near the huge rolling ball in Temple of Puna. That may be causing the strange Lara when she falls with swan-roll-dive.

This "bug" actually appears everywhere in the Tomb Raider 3 London levels when jumping or falling into the abyss. Lara ultimately hits the floor and dies, but the moving textures make it look if she was falling for eternity.

I though that unlike in TR4, untextured surfaces do not display the sky texture (like surfaces textured black), but they act like a strange eternal tracing mirror thingy, don't know how to exactly explain it...
In TR4, untextured surfaces are just black...
