I can't run the editor on it . I tryed every thing. 32-bit, 24-bit, even 16-bit it just will not work. Please god help meeeeeeeeee. Or some really smart person. It use to work on all my computers, now it don't work on none of them. It's got to be XP. Don't get me wrong XP is the bomb. hm....thats intersting..i have XP too and it works fine with me...do you have home edition or professional? Cause at professional it doesnt work.... well...are you running it at compatibility mode of win 98 ? Cause this crashes it at my computer....Cu VoNCroy IP: Logged |

have you tried running it under windows 2000? i got it to work for my mate under that

i used the compatibilty mode with xp for win98 and it worked but the screen would sometimes spin round really fast so i got rid of xp which when it comes to anything older than the xp operating system seems to behave in a peculiar fashion or just plain not function, so i got rid of xp and went back to win98. There is no patches for the level editor on TRC only for the games .

If the error is with the roomeditor ,try to delete the autosave.prj before . you need use 16 bits color mode in the windows desktop for the roomeditor. You guys are great, thanks alot I finally got it to work. I had to use Win 2000 mode. I had been thru this thing good and never noticed the compatibility folder under properties. yes jeff my pc is very fast, i have to tap the keys very lightly, of course it might not be 98 , it might dx 8.1, latest via drivers, i have gone back to all the original drivers that i bought with my pc.IP: Logged |
