* * * Custom Tomb Raider Level Screenshots Gallery * * *

I hereby request every forum member who made a level or is in the process of making a level, to submit their best screenshot. A team of professional and experienced level heads will vote for the best screenshots and ultimately the 5 most breathtaking screenshots will get a permanent, honourable place on the TRLE FAQ page.

------------------------------------------------------------------
The rules are:

- screenshots will not be allowed to be posted in this thread, but has to be sent by e-mail to trle_screenshots@yahoo.com
- only 1 screenshot per forum member will be allowed, even if the member has made more than 1 level, so pick carefully!
- when submitting your screenshot, be sure to clearly add your forum ID (screen name)
- the screenshot may not be adjusted with any paint or photo-edit software program. only actual in-game screenshots in the file format .JPG or .GIF will be allowed, so no .BMP or zipped .BMP files
- preferably, the size of the screenshot must be either 800x600 or 1024x768. this is not a rule, but it would be best
- once you submitted a screenshot, you will be allowed to change your submission before the closing date
- the time period to submit your screenshot will be 31 days
- a team of professional and experienced level heads will vote for the 5 best screenshots
- the criteria for voting for a screenshot will be:
1) design
2) textures
3) lightning
- the winning 5 screenshots will be placed on the TRLE FAQ and Community page without the names of the authors. This is done, to take away the "competition" feeling.
------------------------------------------------------------------

e-mail address to submit your screenshot:
trle_screenshots@yahoo.com

just to be clear: you can only submit a screenshot of a level you designed yourself. you may not submit other people's work

yes, only adjusting brightness/contrast will be allowed, as long as you adjust the entire screenshot at once, you may not adjust specific areas on the image

Would it be okay if I design a scene with the LE, just for the screenshot?

sorry Piega, I have seen the "artificial border" and you may only submit your screenshot "as is", without adding photo-edit software enhancements

two thing driber:

1) it should be better if you ask for an EXCLUSIVE screenshot, don't you think? I mean not showed before here..

2) sorry but I am going to send you mine AGAIN as I didn't read you wanted 800x600 or 1024x768.. SORRY!

(it is very much coloured as you can imagine.. sending now!)

1) no, members may submit any screenshot, even if they posted it on here once, because it would otherwise dramaticly cut down the possibilities. a member who only made one level, 6 months ago should have the same rights as a member who made a new level that hasn't been released yet

2) that's ok

yes Data, I assimulated it
and don't bother to destroy the relevant memory blocks, because resistance is futile

Hmm, I believe you are in error, 'resistance' is not futile, it is the opposition to a flow of electric current through a circuit component, medium, or substance.

I do believe, my friend, that resistance may also be defined as opposition to change, authority, invasion, etc. Not just electrical devices such as yourself or materials and mediums.

You are correct Ambassador, however I did not wish to confuse the issue with mere semantics.
