City at sunset. Up in the sky. Big white sun-look-a-like. Nasty. Screenshot soon.

In the screenshot(which unfortunately I can't improve ), I am looking upward. There is a huge bit of whiteness in the middle. It is not there when I look at it in the Room edit or strpix. But ingame, it is a disturbing sight, and I want to get rid of it, if it is not hard-coded.

Does anyone know? Probably not, as it is a weird looking problem. It may not look bad at first, but you will be able to tell if I put up some sky up there. Want that picture, too?

Nothing to do with LensFlare. Script does not contain such line. Sorry.

As much as I'd like to do that, I have no LensFlare in my script.

Just to make sure, I am looking upward to the sky - not across to the horizon.

Does it only happen at that place in the level, or everywhere? Is it only outside, or inside as well?
Is it possible there is an object at that place in your level, or a light?
Do you have a sun, perhaps placed outside the room where it is hard to see?
There is a wad object called LENS_FLARE. Is it in your wad? If so, try deleting it with TRWest.

Answers to your questions, aktrekker:

Does it only happen at that place in the level, or everywhere? Is it only outside, or inside as well?

Only outside.

Is it possible there is an object at that place in your level, or a light?

No chance of that.

Do you have a sun, perhaps placed outside the room where it is hard to see?

Unfortunately not.

There is a wad object called LENS_FLARE. Is it in your wad? If so, try deleting it with TRWest.

There is no such object in my wad.

Retexture it in Strpix with transparency, you may only see black, but just texture the "roof" of the horizon with the pink color. This will also allow the sky layer to appear correct. This is assuming that the horizon HAS a "roof" to it.

Other than this I'm totally lost
