I think you cannot change illumination.
You can change color. When you edit your room, select the object. Click Face Edit and Lighting. Next to the object display, you can change the red, green, and blue. Turn off Face Edit and you can see the color changed on the object.

Aktrekker, Jesseas e-mailed me about this.

He does what you suggest, but the object won't change the color ingame.

I never done it before, so I don't know

Some objects you just can't change in RoomEdit. You might want to consider using StrPix and a graphic program to get the color change you want. What object are you trying to change anyway?

I think only static objects can be changed this way.

Oh well...

I have this problem once in a while.

Ropes are always bright, they glow in the dark rooms and look very unrealistic...

Nothing could change that.

The problem is that the same object is at different places and with different illumination, it doesn't advance like this to change only the textures, but I have to adjust the color for each atmosphere...

Usually, animating object (doors and pickup items are good example) changes its illumination automatically, depending on the illumination of the room. However, the shadow effect do not seem to affect this.

I reduced the RGB number for the doors equally, make them look real dark in room editor, but on playing they're still bright as before, except one that looked dark as I wanted. I check the OCB setting between that door and the others, but they're the same. I couldn't tell why one worked and others didn't, maybe I missed something?

It might be the lights you have in the different rooms. The doors should be affected by whatever lights you put in the room, but not the ambient light.
