I have this one room I've been trying desperatly to make a flipmap of, but every time i create the "flipped" room (by pressing the F button) and try and run the game, it crashes. I haven't put any lighting or anything that I think could cause the crash either..
Anyone know how to fix this?

Hmmm...never heard of that before... Try changing the flipmap number to anything other than 0...

That's just it...I have 2 other flipmaps that work great (0 and 1 respectively), the third flipmap I assigned to 2.
The one assigned to 0 works fine.

???????? I'm perplexed.

I assume you used a flipmap trigger, and put the right flipmap number in the trigger?
You could try a flipon instead of flipmap.

Yeah, I had the right flipmap # in the trigger setting, but check this out: I tried just creating the flipmap, not setting any triggers or anything, and the game still crashed, it's like it just doesn't want me to flip that particular room

Maybe it has to do with the changes you made to the flipmap, or door connections (they should all remain the same).
Or maybe it has to do with objects you place in either the original room or the flipmap.

What the **** . I can't flip any other room without the game crashing during a test run.
There are only 2 doors, (I've tried deleting them, and resetting them before making the flipped room)
There are no objects in the room. It should be nothing to just flip the stupid room BUT NO, the editor won't let me do it.
All I do is press the F button, set the flipmap # to 2 (I have a '0' and a '1' flipped rooms already...that work fine), make some changes, press ALT+F to toggle back to the original.
whether I set a trigger to activate the flipmap or not, it crashes.
If noone can help me I'm going to have to scrap a critical part of my level.

Have you tried deleting the room you need to flip, then start afresh by rebuilding the room and flipping the rebuilt room and seeing what happens?

I know it doesn't sound like a solution, but i had a flipped room which was crashing the editor for no apparent reason and solved it this way...i still don't know what was wrong with the original room.

If the room you want to flip is a lot of work to rebuild, copy it then delete it and replace it with the copy and then try flipping it ...see what happens.

Maybe it's another problem and you are on the edge of the limits of the editor? While converting look at the alloc file buffer. It should be below 75.000.000

I'd love to, but my converter doesn't give me that nice display of it's conversion process, or the progress bar. Eventually it just finishes after a period of time.
Copying the room and replacing it didn't work.

If you don't get the output during conversion, then the level may be pushing the limits. At least one large level from Core does the same thing. You may have to find some solutions to reduce your level size/complexity.
1) Remove some objects from your level and/or wad.
2) Reduce the number of flipped/rotated/partial textures.
3) Use less lights/triggers/flame emitters.
