* * * Custom Tomb Raider Level Screenshots Gallery * * *I hereby request every forum member who made a level or is in the process of making a level, to submit their best screenshot. A team of professional and experienced level heads will vote for the best screenshots and ultimately the 5 most breathtaking screenshots will get a permanent, honourable place on the TRLE FAQ page.

The rules are: - screenshots will not be allowed to be posted in this thread, but has to be sent by e-mail to trle_screenshots@yahoo.com
- only 1 screenshot per forum member will be allowed, even if the member has made more than 1 level, so pick carefully!
- when submitting your screenshot, be sure to clearly add your forum ID (screen name)
- the screenshot may not be adjusted with any paint or photo-edit software program. only actual in-game screenshots in the file format .JPG or .GIF will be allowed, so no .BMP or zipped .BMP files
- the size of the screenshot must be either 800x600 or 1024x768
- once you submitted a screenshot, you will be allowed to change your submission before the closing date
- the time period to submit your screenshot will be 31 days
- a team of professional and experienced level heads will vote for the 5 best screenshots
- the criteria for voting for a screenshot will be:
1) design
2) textures
3) lightning
- the winning 5 screenshots will be placed on the TRLE FAQ and Community page without the names of the authors. This is done, to take away the "competitive" feeling.

there are only 3 days left before the deadline closes, but by the look of the low number of people who have submitted a screenshot, I see that people aren't really interested in this contest or haven't made a screenshot yet, so I am forced to make 1 of the following decisions:1) This contest will be dropped
2) Only 1 screenshot will win this contest

I say make it a top 3 instead of top 5, or keep the 5. I mean you can make it like a monthly thing. Every month 5 screens are taken and the next month 5 new ones.IP: Logged |

I would have to agree with verios about the once a month thing, but make it one screenshot instead of five. That is, if the intrest rate stays basically the same.------------------

I agree with the once a month thing, but why not leave it as a permanent top 5 list and rate new submissions once a month? somehow like the level rating on m.prager's site.Or you could really make it a "screenshot of the week/month/year" thing. IP: Logged |

It is not good that the interest is low. So replacing each month is not possible i think. One screenshot is not good, because you cant compare it with others then. Extent the closing date. designing a scene especially for the screenshot contest is allowed, as long as the original artist you are talking about is not another level designer and/or forum member, which is hopefully an obvious reasonand just a tip before you begin: the judges will pay most attention to design, lightning and originality, so whether you place a child's drawing or a van Gogh masterpiece in your level, makes no difference, it's about how YOU use it and how it fits the surroundings IP: Logged |

Is the screenshot to be taken from the "winroomedit" mainframe or from the TR4 executable?------------------
