I have transfered a number of TR2 objects and they work admirably, however they do not contain the sound files.
When I convert the level, the last few lines display TR2 sound files not found.

Apart from this the wad still functions within acceptable parameters.

How can I transfer across the sound files?

Hi Data,

This post answers your question: ../HTML/007691.html

Although I recieved the error for a TR3 WAD, the solution applies to TR2 as well.

Hope this helps.

Or wait to the next TR2Wad, I tested it and it's fixed now. Just save all TR3 Sound xxx.wav to the samples folder and it works. new TR2Wad can open main.sfx files (that contains these samples). Release this weekend.....

Great news!

Can it save TR1 wavs in the same way too?

I have solved my problem. Since the objects that I transfered to my wad from TR2 did not require any sounds, I was left with other sounds that did not function, like other weapon sounds or the water sounds, however I simply pasted a backup of the .SAM and .SFX files from the original wad back into the wads folder and all necessary sounds and effects now function correctly.
