I like the level!
Except i'm stuck by the 3 rope seq. when i try to get the second rope in the seq, i end up grabbing the ledge above it.
was that gernade ammo i saw while up there?------------------

ok, this sounds stupid but don't laugh (or else!!)
Ive downloaded the level and it works fine... except that I can't get off the square lara's on. I can jump off it but I always end up falling and killing her. I know there's a small hole on the other side of the drop but I can't climb into it, I just hang there. so where am I supposed to go????IP: Logged |

Hey, Walrus!
I've already downloaded your level and now I'm playing it. But, there's a little problem in your level called "bug" . Actually there are some little ones, which are only visualization bugs (like the pipe) but not only. First bug is when you crawl under the pipe to the right, there is a bar which Lara obviously can't shoot down but if you turn around and try to crawl out of the tunnel by pressing "down arrow" + "ctrl" she will get out of that tunnel despite the bar. After that you won't see Lara, you won't be able to move and crowl back up. The second bug (and which has to be definately fixed) is connected with ladder. Remember a room with a helicopter behind a gate, so before this room there's a ladder which leads down through the fire blows to a danger area where can be found only one switch and some danger canisters (don't know the word for them, sorry ). Well, after triggering that switch a door opens in the kitchen (i suppose) and turns off burning gas. Now Lara can enter the next room. Having entered there you'll see some smoke coming out from the pipe (the one that harms Lara) then you slide down the slope, shoot the bar and crowl in another tunnel. Finally, there's a second ladder leading down to a little room with two boxes and one switch. The point is that there's no way out of that room. She can't climb back by that ladder, she can't get in the tunnel even pressing "up arrow" + "dot button" (crowl/sit button). So, the level CAN NOT be finished  . Please, can you fix that?

Well... for the second "bug", that isn't a bug, you can make in this mode: when Lara have climb the wall and she cannot enter in the small passage behind the kichten, simply give over to hit the ctrl button for a second, then hit it again and you will be swift to press the crouch button and the up arrow... So Lara can go bak again...For the first bug, excuse me but I don't understand much... can you be more clear? ------------------

I've done it! I've finally made it up! Ok, there's no second bug (sorry about that  ). But that sure is strange - she can climb up only hanging, I've never seen that before. And as for the first bug here goes: in the toilet room the very left door - there is a bar which Lara has to shoot down. After entering the narrow passage she crowls until she reaches a pipe above her head. Now she can turn and crawl both right and left. So if you turn right, you'll face a bar which she can not shoot down. Now imagine a picture that there's no any bar and you want to descend. Here's what you do: you turn around, press "down arrow" key + "ctrl", right? So, try it for yourself and see what happens. ------------------

Hi Walrus (If you see this maybe you can help on what I need to do next...& YES is a very good project...I'm in the newer Scene 2 & 3, ...I think this thread was for the 1st Level Scene 1 though)Started playing it again, & found what missed: A floor grate that had tried to open but just wasn't positioned just right,
so on rechecking have found this 'tricky spot.' Is in Scene 2 I think. There you find scarab beetles waiting for you, but do get some goodies & unlock a door (a 2nd switch in this area).Now, I'm in Scene 3, have gotten the Blue Key, installed it, (also got the store room key for some goodies) have gotten Access Code Card & flipped switch after short elevator ride & killing guy on block. Shows a major
area opening up w/several baddies waiting...
but I can't find this entrance or the NEXT thing to do ANYWHERE!????? I still have the PUMP ACCESS card, but haven't found anyplace to use it. Have scoured all the areas over several times but w/no luck (except finding one 'secret.') I still have 2 door areas not opened where opened the elevator area w/the access card. Also, in Scene 2 area there is still that one dark door still closed. NEED HELP NOW! (Either somethings not working or am not positioned just right somewhere for whatever has to be done next...
mainly need to know where to use the Pump Access card I think. Have seen only one pump looking thing, but no luck.) This BTinSiberia seems to be a very good ongoing project. Is very fun & challenging.
I think you will like it too. Go Play...I need your help. lol I may go back to it later, but have exhausted all current ideas for the moment. IP: Logged |
