Well, having secretly played and enjoyed many of you folk's fine levels, it is now time to give back a little, I don't see this mentioned yet...

from "PC GAMER", March 2002 edition, article on TR6, page 50:

For PC gamers only, it's possible that Core will release the editing tools around launch time for creating your own levels. Though there are numerous potential problems, such as the fact that most gamers won't have access to the game engine's expensive Maya base, Smith (Adrian at Core) appreciates its value to the PC market, and a decision will be made closer to the game's ship date. (Fortunately, it's rumored that Alias-the makers of Maya-may be considering a game mod community-friendly version akin to Discreet's "3D Studio Max Lite" software, gmax.)"

Above as reported by Rob Smith, writer for PC Gamer.

Sounds like time for a campaign to make that happen for you folks. Inventive as you are, I'm sure yop will suceed.

(I meant to say "you will suceed", but I'm sure yop is very sucessful too.)

Aha! I thought I'd heard someone here mention Maya before, in an other-than-Mesoamerican-archeaological sense!

All ya'll need now is the editor, I can't imagine Core NOT releasing it, as to release it would insure sales for the games between releases of each sucessive installment.
