Yesterday, the five buttons in my sink's OCB popup read 1,2,3,4,5. Then last night they read 1,2,4,8,16. Now they read 1,2,3,4,5 again. I think I am going crazy...am I?

It's always possible... j\k
Seriously though, It's probably just a bug in your PRJ, But what do you mean by "Sink?"
What is it a Static object or something? If so I wouldn't take the time to worry about it.

Check the manual, page 68. A sink is a current (under Effects/Sink in the LE menu). The manual says they should say 1,2,4,8,16, but they don't always (for me, anyway). Just another vagiary of the LE, I guess...

Oh, I never heard it called a "Sink" before..
Oh well I've been in TRLE so long i've sort of made my own names for things.. heh
Anyway, Just check and see if it cause's any problems in the level.
If all seems well I wouldn't worry, Otherwise your PRJ may be too buggy to use.
If that's the case I'd suggest either starting over or getting in contact with a PRJ Expert.

It is sort of bug but it wont harm. When you select an object like trapdoor, flame emitter and you press "o" to edit the ocb bits nothing is wrong but, normal 1-2-3-4-5 bits for object, when you select a sink after this the ocb will read 1-2-3-4-5

Those numbers are still same as

1-2-4-6-18 only i dont know why it shows like this, just save your prj under different name, then close the editor and reload it. It should be normal again

and a sink is a small circle shaped object in the effect menu it creates a streaming pull, you place it in water then set a ocb for and it creates a streaming effect which will make lara pull towards the sink, this way you can create a rivir which pulls you towards a waterfall and kills you
