Whenever I used STRpix (I'm running W/ME) multiple times, my computer slowed down to a crawl while it was running, and only got worse. Well, today I found out that after closing STRpix down it sometimes remains resident in the computer's memory (in Ctrl+Alt+Del as Rundll32). So I just shut down Rundll32 each time it appeared, and now I can run STRpix without shutting my computer down every couple hours or so. Just in case someone didn't know this...

There's a very similiar problem like that with Win XP..
Except instead of running in the backround it just eats up memory untill Strpix stops working..
Thankfully after about a minute everything goes back to normal with no after effects.
However in XP it can easily be fixed by setting it's compatibility mode to Win 98.
I just actually discovered this today, Anyway I'm not sure what can be done in Win 2k.
