I've decided to start creating again inspired by the textures from ID's Doom2. The level will use most of these textures and the environment will include a similar feel to Doom2. If anyone has played Doom2, they will know what to expect.
Tell me what you think.........

It's worth a try. I had myself the idea of a Quake style level set in a chemical plant. The major problem is (methinks) that the TRLR enemies are either essentially harmless or unkillable. But I'm definitely looking forward to this level of yours.

Sounds great to me. Think you could retexture/alter the meshes of Lara's weapons and the enemies to fit in with the motif?

hello, about 4 years ago, i built a
TombRaider level in Quake, using Qoole
level editor complete with a "official"
Lara Croft model(authentic, from a friend)--

that was played in the 3rd person perspective. it was called "Coba" & used
TR1 "Peru" textures/Quake enemies...

nobody wanted this level.Quake people
don't like TR. TR people don't play Quake.
i like both games but i learned my lesson.
but do what you have to.

I would be grateful if you would send this level to me. I like both as well.

John: I will certainly try what you suggest but I want to keep Lara and her weapons as original as possible.

Do it do it do it!!!!!

I'm also building my next level inspired from Doom64

It's the third level to my Dark Skies level, and I'm trying to make it feel like Doom, but I'm avoiding drifting from the Tomb Raider feel by using puzzles and such.

I even turned a Demigod_3 into a semitransparent minotaur (it's a crap job but it's OK)

Besides, Data made Castle Doomsaday inspired somewhat from Doom and that level kicked ***

Dhama,

whatever you do, if you want to build a level then do it, do it, do it

And I am also one of those apparently few people who do like TR, Doom and Quake (in fact these are the only games I ever played), so I will be highly interested in the result.

HAPPY RAIDING!
Michael.

hello.
" I would be grateful if you would send this level to me. I like both as well."

thanks, but don't make me hunt thru moldy
old level builds-- i appreciate
your gesture -(it was linked on Eep2's
TombRaider level builder site for
nearly 2 yrs)

i prefer my time spent on my current level.

but, you know that Now... TR people Would
be interested in ID styles in TR...so
it can't hurt, can it?
