I can't put up screenshots here (no website), but I will mail them to you in .JPG format if you want to take a look at them.Anyway, this is a three-level set set in the Peru of TR1, which means that I finally get to use Tomoko's T-Rex and raptors as well as a few other enemies. Here are some features of the game: STRpix'ed items include: Waterfall Skeletons (static) Skeleton (enemy) Skull(s) Rib cage w/head Shatterable rib cage w/out head Wolf Horizon Swinging axe M-16A2 Pistols SMAW (Rocket launcher) Browning Hi-Power Ammunition for all of the above Lara's hair Rolling ball Bat Raptor T-Rex Plants and many more things that I can't think of right now... And I have edited the collision on some objects as well as making some new shatter objects. The main story will center in the (tentatively-titled) Valley of the Dead, which has a multi-story valley with three rope bridges, two temples, a temple complex, a burial complex and two smaller levels attached to it. One of the smaller levels will be a secret level, and the other will be a set of caves with an archeological camp in it. There will be four or five actual 'puzzles' per se as well as keys/artifacts, etc. The enemies will be raptors, a Tyrannosaurus Rex, bats, wolves and possibly crocodiles. Objects have been taken from TR1, TR2, TR3 and TR5 and the little white ghost-bears from TR5 Ireland have been used once so far (possibly more) to help with a puzzle. Custom sounds have been added for the weapons as well as added to the raptors and T-Rex, and nearly all the music (so far 16 out of 18 tracks) is new or at least did not come with the LE. The title flyby is completely done, the main level is about halfway done, and the entire set is about 40% of the way done, but it will be awhile until I can finish the game completely because I have two essays to write today (I'm applying for college). So mail me at MacArthurEnterprises@juno.com if you would like to see screenshots of these levels (twelve, zipped into a 124KB file). IP: Logged |

quote: from Troosevelt's mail (lol) Please note that certain areas (the temple valley and the first temple in particular) are at present too dark. This will be changed in the final version, as the main level is only half way done. The valley is not finished yet, although some areas are.
:Yeah yeah. You know what expects you if it's too dark and not enough flares right! [This message has been edited by KrisGR (edited 02-18-2002).] IP: Logged |
