What kind of textures are you looking for exactly?

Go to FAQ page, download the texture maker program ( which allows you to mix texture )Download also Tr2wad, with this you can rip textures from tr4 files tr2 or phb files. Then you can use texzture editor program to create your texture set  ------------------

Great! I was expecting this question since days! Why don't you build by yourself some beautiful NEW texture? You cannot imagine how much it can be FUNNY and satisfying: in the link below you can find some really WONDERFUL and HELPFUL tools to build EASILY and with few steps your CUSTOM TEXTURES which will look really professional, expecially if you then retouch them with photoshop (I am available for more infos): but actually you will be able to build them WITHOUT needing ANY other tool, and THOSE ARE EVEN FREE (or donationable)! After you build them you can resize them to 64x64 or 128x128 pixels (or however you want or need) to use them in your CUSTOM TR level to GIVE and to HAVE FUN LOL This is the url: www.i-tex.de **(EDIT: http://volftp.mondadori.com/i/go.htm?1/pub/pc/windows/win98/progs/graphic/itex13.exe& )** After a while using this tool, you can try Photoshop for some deeper customization  **(EDIT: That is the correct url, the previous url I wrote is for the newest version of that program but that is only a demo you need to buy for complete functions: this new URL is the previous version of the i-tex program but completely working, after 30 days of use you "should" delete it but it should still work )** [This message has been edited by psiko (edited 02-20-2002).] IP: Logged |

those are some of the textures you will be able to do with that program (the second url I provided, the first one is to have infos about the newest version which you need to pay to use completely: the second url is good) IP: Logged |

How many MB is it? My Download Accelerator requires password and the standard IE download thingy don't know how much time it's left nor how many MB it's left.------------------

Remmeber when creating custom pattern textures to create squares surrouding the initial texture then eduit it so that the layering or lines and patterns match up so when you do to make your wall paper everything will look smooth and realistic.it helps of you are able to adjust the ambient lighting effect on the texture before putting it in the game so that it wont stick out when you adjust the lighting effect in the trle .IP: Logged |

Im currently ripping all TR and Quake 3 TGA's I can get my hands on, Ive had an Idea to merge existing textures to make new kinds of textures and walls etc, but I just wanted to point out that textures with shadows (of an object its near) adds a really good effect and that extra professionalism  and I hope people havent forgotten about TexEdit that can make TGA tiles out of any BITMAP,JPEG etc its an awsome program and theres another prog that creates moving textures , but ive forgotton what its called (ive not tryed it yet)
