How come rays of light penetrate such a gloomy place as Castle Doomsday (especially in the 2nd screenshot)?------------------ Oleg IP: Logged |

The skulls in the first screen dont suit it, change them to emblems or something i think that might look alittle better, other than that looks awsome!IP: Logged |

Umm...the skulls, pentagrams and whatever-is-above-the-pentagrams really detract (in my opinion) from the otherwise stunning effect of the screenshots (especially the first one, which I like the best by far).IP: Logged |

Thank you esperanto, I appreciate your honesty. Hmm the skulls..... I am still experimenting with them; in fact I have changed things around so much already, however I hope it will be enjoyable when it is finally finished. Mr Oleg, I believe the reason for the ray of light must be one of artistic license. Beetleboy, I believe you may be correct, however I will attempt to keep a few. Everyone else, thank you; I believe encouragement is good for the sub-routine. IP: Logged |

Okay, this is just my opinion, but I think the skulls look too fake to make the castle look genuine. Perhaps you should turn the general light in the upper screenshot down very low, and only light the spot where the light of the window lands, I think it would make it look better. Other than that, continue like this, it looks pretty good!IP: Logged |

The skulls in the second screenshot look awsome. It's the ones in the first screenshot that look out of place.IP: Logged |

Data, you never cease to amaze me with each new level that you build. They just keep getting better. Those screen shots look great and anyone who says otherwise is just jealous.------------------

I like them very much Data but beware. Keep your own taste. That's what I do. There are always people who dont like them and that's alright. There are already so many arguments about the shots of the new tombraider and you cant please everyone. If you change each thing someone dont like you get a level that is not from you. So it's good in the way you made it and the textures suits the theme. Good job IP: Logged |

I like it the way it is, and as I see there will be more action than in your first level, Data.(I hope so(not that there was too less in 'Castle Doomsday'))

I take all critisism as productive, so thank you for all of your opinions. As far as the skulls are concerned most of them will stay however, I have had to cut back on too many different textures as the largest playing area is tending to produce a slightly less than perfect frame rate. Thank you Piega for your words of encouragement, as I have said before, I find your levels to be very professional, so I am honoured that you like what you have seen so far. Emma, I have a brother who is very particular about my levels, he is constantly giving me grief as to whether something will work well or not, however I believe I am grateful for his intervention since it concluded that I would not have released Castle Doomsday but for his help. *sniff, sniff* You have a good brother, take care of him and say thanx to him from me I also have a younger brother who is indifferent to Tomb Raider, however, I love him very much ... P.S. In fact I like those screenies too - nice work ------------------ Oleg IP: Logged |
