Actually, it is. However, they're made with the unofficial level editor and require you to at least have a version of one of the Tomb Raider games. It must also be the game the level's made for (ie: if you want to play a TR3 level, you must have TR3, etc.).Here's the one web site I know of that has a list of such levels: http://home01.wxs.nl/~eland037/index.htm You may also want to check out the unofficial level editor tools page at: http://home.acadia.net/userpages/vagrant/Vagrant.html As well as their forum page at: http://pub19.ezboard.com/ftreditingzonefrm2 They should be able to help you if you have trouble installing and/or playing the levels. ------------------ KingSpyder KingSpyder@thefreesite.com KingSpyder's World The Doctor Who Transcripts Project The Original Tomb Raider Conversion Project The Dark! If you have downloaded a blabla.tr4 file with a script.dat and an english dat, I think it is possible to play them with the times exclusive tomb4.exe. It is only in a rumor, but I think it's logical and should be possible. If you don't have the times exclusive level, try this link. It works for me fine, but someone told me, it doesn't open for him/her. So be prepered for this too.IP: Logged |

eTUX,its not a rumor, it is true, look at the older original tombraider games. All the games dont install any recourses on your harddisk, all is run trough the cd. The only files that are there is a ???.exe and savegame files and a readme If you look in your TRLA cd you will find tr4 files, script, english and strings.h stuff. So for example, if you release a level as Tr4 files and you also include the audio waves which might be needed and also the script.dat english.dat and strings.h. Then you have to put a tomb4.exe in the zip. Only however the folder that has been created must have same directory info as trle directory, which you need a Main directory example: The Temple of ??? sub directories are Data - Audio i dont know how the sound folder is linked, In data goes the tr4 files in audio the audio files and the sounds are linked i think. Now you only have to run tomb4.exe and it works. however, releasing the tomb4.exe along with levels is not allowed in disclaimer of the manual. I dont know if it may be allowed, you have to ask for yourself. ------------------ The best thing and last thing is to try ( ^_^ )=b IP: Logged |

Well, if you don't have TRLE, why not get it? If you buy Tomb Raider Chronicles, you also get TRLE. Or on the contray, if you buy TRLE, you also get Chronicles. But if you want TRLE, look for Tomb Raider Chronicles, and look for "Includes Level Editor" on the package. ------------------ [This message has been edited by hteS (edited 03-01-2002).] IP: Logged |

I believe the best course of action here is to do as hteS suggests; buy Tombraider Chronicles, it is quite inexpensive now and would save a lot of messing around.IP: Logged |
