is there a way to trigger a level jump while falling? I've got an elevator shaft with water at the botton and I want Lara to trigger a level jump half way down the drop.
is this possible?

So far i dont think its possible or you have to create some kind of flyby which will trigger a TT which will activate the finish trigger under it. Then the lift shaft has to be 2x3 or 4x4 something in order to have room for the triggers

I will give you an example, and hope you understand.
You make 4 stacked room like this:
1
2
3
4
5(your water room)
In the middle, between rooms 2 and 3 or 3 and 4, create doors like this :(lets think your shaft is 4X4 and Lara falls in the middle)

O O O O
O X X O
O X X O
O O O O

O - doors
X - just transpareent colored floor squares

And place the finish trigger on those squares. And Lara should jump to the next level only after 'entering' the room with the finish trigger. It works this way (I'm 99% sure)

or you could create a delay trigger! make a room another part of the map and put a big slope in it, then place a bolder at the top of the slope and place a heavy finish trigger at the bottom of the slope and then place the trigger for the bolder where u first start to enter the lift shaft, when lara comes into contact with this trigger the bolder will start to roll but the finish trigger will only be activated when the bolder gets to the end of the slope there fore creating a time delay. you will have to experiment with the lengh of the slope though to increase or decrease the delay. i use this trick and it works great!! thanx to yasin who told me how to do it
