how do you make new wad files using TRWest, and do u have to overwrite old files, if so can you get the old ones back, and how do you make the revised wads work, step by step explanation please, im kinda new!

The revised wads have to be placed in the graphics/wads folder, they have to overwrite the files you installed, and that's how you make them work.

With the TRWest, I'd advice to overwrite the revised wads, cause this way you'll have all Lara's animations in your new wad. If you need to get back the original files, there's a program called WADfixer, which you can download in the FAQ. The instructions for it should be added in a readme file.

With the TRWest, under file you can find all options needed to create, modify wads. Press open wad for editing and open the needed revised wad. Select all the objects, you don't need and delete them. Now press load reference file and load all wads, from whom you want objects in your wad. Select the object from the reference files and press add. The object will be added to your wad. That's what you need to know for the begininng.
