How do I get a red blinking light? Do I have to put some special OCB code in the AMBER_LIGHT object?

There is a red light objext. Try putting a nullmesh object (like the amber light) into the red_light slot with TRWest.

Done. But that created a still red light just as if I had placed a normal light and colored it red. The thing is that I need the OCB for the BLINKING_LIGHT object that colors it red.

Well, I put a nullmesh (AMBER_LIGHT) in the BLINKING_LIGHT slot. But the object is visible (i.e. you can see the triangle in-game), so I textured it transparent. When triggered, it blinks yellow, so I textured the alarm la...OOPS!!! I talked too much there!

Ahh! An alarm! Well make a flipmap for the alarm room, and chabge the ambient light to dark red, and place blinking lights in the level.

Yup, that's what I've did. I've also changed in the sounds.txt file to make a sound point to the alarm sound.

Working alarm soon to be released...
