Hey Piege, did you happen to put bump maps on your textures? I was just curious because i love your last crusade levels and id love to play them with bump-mapping using my new videocard. Thanks in advance.

Hi Verios, yes I used bumpmapping on some textures in the last crusade. Just turn it on in the graphics menu of tombraider. However, you must take a good look to see the difference. On some textures you may not see it at all but it is there...

What is bump mapping? I don't understand what the manual says... Any explanation is highly appreciated.

It gives the texture more depth. Press alt enter in the editor and click on sound next to the animation beneath the tga window. Now you can add sounds to a particular texture. Down below you see bump 1 and 2. When you click it the texture that you have selected will have the bumpmapping enabled in game. You have 2 styles. When 1 and 2 togheter is enabled the texture will have more depth then one alone. However you see this only when your graphics card supports this. Look at the original projects on wich texture tiles they have used this.

Thanks Piega! Could you also show me a screenshot, please? ('Cause I don't think my graphic card supports bump mapping)
