the snow effect is created by overlapped water rooms

I accidentally got that effect in one of my Snow base levels, I thought it looked like snow so I left it, but I did not know how it happened until now.

that is not snow
he put a "not connected water room" (probably invisibly textured) just lapping it over another already existent and walkable...

this trick was known since months, but the effect is really cool... it is done even in the Rome Level on TRChronicles, (maybe the english title is "trajan markets") when you need to pick up a steel after some underwater passages, before to face the big bronze roman statue with a blade...

hey John! are you sending the prj I gave you months ago?
how it is done:
make a water room, make a reflection room for it and make a room(the one where you want the snow) to be overlaped with the water room. now make a corridor that conects the reflection room with the room where you want the snow, every water rooms connected to the main water room and normal rooms overlaped with the water rooms connected to the main normal room will have the snow effect.
Using this in big levels may be bad as you need to make many rooms and sometimes doors may not be placed as you wanted.

John, your level needs more lights. something I noticed is that you almost don't use light bulbs in your levels to make light effects, only the ambience light.

try to add 2 lamps next to the door on the main entrance and place a couple of spotlights there that shine on the wall next to the door
other than that, keep the outside dark. a snowy area with dark luminosity is just mystique

Doing well, friend. A nice looking level is emerging.

Suggestions? The outside water is strangely lit up. 2 things can be done about that:

1) Darken the water room.

2) Get a couple of lights surrounding the pool. That would mean the illumination is the reflection of those lights.

No other problems found.
