Here is a major updating of my "Project-Analyser" for TRLE level-designers who want to read and/or modify easely OCB codes and switches (objects + triggers) in project files. Compared to version 1.6, version 1.7 offers the following improvments :
- The values of the figures for switches are not only shown, but also decoded
- For objects : OCB values for switches AND "timer zone" can be read and/or modified
- For triggers : values for switches and "timer zone" can now be read and/or modified
- You can choose to save the result of the analysis (Nev button "Save result")
Download Version 1.7 http://alainlecomte.free.fr/TR_Prj.zip (242 Ko : Less than 2 minutes) If you do not have it yet, you can also download version 1.1 of a program which will extract OCB codes and values of switches directly from .TR4 files : http://alainlecomte.free.fr/TR_Exe.zip (247 Ko : Less than 2 minutes)

Why should I use this program to change things that can also be done in RoomEdit? You still need it to export the tom file so it isn't faster. I still can't see a reason for using this. It doesn't solve problems I have when building levels or makes it easier to build them.IP: Logged |

At least two reasons : 1- This program gives a summary of a project that WinRoomEdit does not provide : At a glance you can have a good overview of everything. 2- If you only have 1 or 2 values to modify, you are right, WinRoomEdit will do it easely. It will not be the same if you have many objects or triggers to retrieve, study and possibly modify. quote: I still can't see a reason for using this.
I did not expect you neither to like it nor to use it ...but your are not the only TRLE user in the world

But there are some things that can be usefull to make an editor for but I can't think of it now. I'll search my desk for notes about it.IP: Logged |

I, for one, think your program is great and look forward to your future contributions. I'm sure others feel this way also. Keep up the good work! IP: Logged |
