It was not a real disaster, like loosing all your work but...My second level, Temple of Azzivullas, was reduced and changed to less than half of the original idea due to texture memory limits. I had to remove almost everything from the WAD so the level could show all the textures involved without crashing... And I had to remove all the irregular cave surfaces to get rid of the many triangular tiles... The mystery is, originally I was way below the real limit, as I could see in the converter info! But I had to change everything for the level to work properly! IP: Logged |

My biggest 2 dissasters.... When i got hacked 2001, July 23th or something lost all my part I and II work, and that day before I had backuped everything, i am quit lucky yes... when my video card was messed up cause my cousin updated some drivers which tombraider was in conflict so my game kept crashing so i accidenlty threw away my prj's cause of my anger ( lucky i had them backuped on cd )

Corrupted wads, currupted projects. Not fully functional stripix problems. Dissapearing or changed textures from objects (bad in the game but right in the stripix window). Level crashes, editor crashes. Script problems (all solved now ), sound.txt editing problems. All I trust 100% is TRwest! Everything else is backed up all the time. Project A to Z. Then backup to another drive or cd-rom and start over from A to Z. 3 backup copies of the wads. There is not ONE level WITHOUT one of these problems but all these thing are not going to stop me!!! ------------------ Dont you think you've seen enough?...BANG!!!
