Calling all geniuses!
whilst attemptingto outfit our fair Lara, I decided to start using the whole 'Lara's Closet' package...does anyone remember this very cool site?? it worked on the premise of everyone using the same basic WAD, basically just lara and her animations...you then changed her attire, saved it and heres the clever bit....using TRWest you could have lara wearing the outfit in any level!!!
Good idea eh??
Now my problem....whilst doing this, some wads give me an error message as follows:
CATACOMBS: could not find next animation "#593" for dispatch "#549" in anim "#590" moveable "KEY_ITEM1" in the output data. You need to add the "CROWBAR_ITEM" moveable from the CAT.WAS for file to work correctly.
Also get similar messages from; COASTAL"#596" disp in "#558" in anim. "#593", for key item etc...asks for crowbar,
Also CITY & NEWCITY ask for BINOCULAR GRAPHICS but diff anim #'s does anyone know what te problem is and how to rectify it?? I have'nt got a clue what I'm doing with TRWest!
Sorry to be so long winded....also if anycan tell me what has happened to the Lara's Closet Site, would apreciate it!
Thanx.

The animation dispatch problems are some kind of bug in the wads themselves if i remember rightly.

I think it WADMERGER that had the ability to fix the animation dispatches so you would no longer get error messages in TRWEST,but the page for WADMERGER seems to be down.

I'll have a look see if i can find it somewhere or maybe somebody knows another link to it.

The next fix for wadmerger (release tommorrow) has fully support for animdispatches. The current version (1.7) just ignores animdispatches, the next version uses them correctly.

Thank you both!
I will try and find WADMERGER....hope it's idiot proof!! The TRWest manual does mention my problem, but not how to fix it!!
But in the meantime, if anyone can offer a solution you will recieve your reward in heaven!!
